THE Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban has emerged as the leading possible venue for Bafana Bafana's friendly international match against Senegal on February 29.

SA Football Association CEO Robin Petersen confirmed this week that the organisation had signed an agreement with a "top 10" African team, but was unsure of the venue.

A Safa official said yesterday that the Moses Mabhida Stadium, which Absa Premiership club Amazulu use as their home ground, could host the match.

"We are not set on a definite venue for the game yet, but Durban has been keen and it looks like the match will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium," said the official.

Bafana's last friendly match was played at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
