FORMER Bafana Bafana captain Lucas Radebe, boxing icon Jacob "Baby Jake" Matlala and cricket legend Shaun Pollock will take part in the Discovery 702 Walk the Talk on Sunday.
They will join thousands of people who will take part in the popular walk in Johannesburg, which is also aimed at raising funds for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
US swimming legend Mark Spitz, who won seven gold medals in one Olympic Games, will line up alongside other celebrities like Morné du Plessis, Desiree Ellis and John Moeti.
Other participants include members of community sports projects in the Johannesburg area supported by Laureus, including Fight With Insight, Johannesburg Cubs, Little Champs, Soweto Schools Rugby Project, Free The Youth and Sport For All.
"I'm not sure I am going to be able to keep up with some of those young guys, but I'm delighted to be here," Spitz said.
Moeti, who has played for Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates, said: "It's a great honour to be part of this event where we will be raising funds for the needy."
The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation South Africa is one of the official charities who receive a portion of the proceeds of the 5km and 8km categories completed by competitors.

The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation South Africa is composed of 12 programmes nationally: Buffalo City Soccer, Fight With Insight, Free The Youth, Indigo Youth Movement, Legends Cup Trust, Little Champs, Lungisani Indlela, Johannesburg Cubs, Makomba Ndlela Youth Movement, PeacePlayers International, Soweto Schools Rugby Programme and Sport for All. The Laureus Foundation has raised more than R25million for charity in South Africa.
