ENGLISH Championship side Crystal Palace have agreed a £500,000 (R5,4 million) fee for Bafana Bafana and SuperSport United captain Morgan Gould.

But this is on condition that the former Jomo Cosmos defender impresses Palace's technical staff during trials next week.

United's chief operations officer Jose Ferreira could not be reached for comment regarding the latest development.

Gould is managed by Glyn Binkin, who is confident the likeable defender will go overseas.

Binkin is also trying to secure an overseas move for Mamelodi Sundowns striker Katlego Mphela.

Back home, Orlando Pirates have opened negotiations with Maritzburg United for the services of Namibian striker Rudolf Bester, while Kaizer Chiefs have offered defender Tlou Molekwane a two-year extension on his contract.
