Soweto pupils feel Webb Ellis Cup

SOWETO pupils yesterday viewed the Rugby World Cup trophy, the Webb Ellis Cup, which was on display at the Jabulani Technical High School.

Amabhokobhoko will be defending the cup in New Zealand in September and October.

Mark Hearne, vice president business leader, MasterCard Worldwide in Africa said: "Because not everyone can make the trip to New Zealand, MasterCard wanted to share a priceless element of this tournament with as many rugby fans as possible by showcasing the trophy here in South Africa."

Pretoria Boys' High School and St John's College in Houghton will have their chance today, before it is flown to Cape Town to make an appearance on Sunday at the Masiphumelele and Villagers rugby clubs in Noordhoek and Claremont respectively.
