LOCAL clubs have invaded the transfer market in search of quality players with the hope of continuing with entertaining soccer where the 2010 World Cup left off.

The latest recruit is Lesotho international defender Lehlohonolo Seema, who joined Mpumalanga Black Aces from Orlando Pirates yesterday.

Sowetan can reveal that Seema has signed a one-off loan agreement with AmaZayoni, who have also signed Marawaan Bantam, Francis Chansa, Joseph Henyekane and Bongani Twala.

Aces' star player Mpho Maleka - who scored crucial goals last season to help them retain their Premiership status - has also been offered a new two-year deal. Goalkeeper Tiberiu Lung has also joined the Mpumalanga outfit.

Aces have also roped in German centre-back Marc Eberle, who has played in Holland, Belgium and Cyprus. Also joining Aces is Lottie Phiri, the Zambian striker, who played for Zesco United, and former SuperSport United winger Simphiwe Nkosi.

Tinashe Nengomasha has finally joined Qatar side Alahli Sports Club, who are currently on a pre-season camp in France.

Sowetan has learnt that Ruben Cloete is likely to join Pirates from Free State Stars. New recruits at Pirates include Patrick Malokase, Daine Klate, Malawian Chiukepo Msowoya and Thandu Mdluli. Tebogo Mashaba has teamed up with University of Pretoria from Pirates while Rudzani Ramudzuli is training with Moroka Swallows.
