Five times Chance the Rapper and his bae were #couplegoals

American musician Chance the Rapper just made major baller moves. SowetanLive reported he had announced the purchase of news site the Chicagoist, as he said in the lyrics of his song I Might Need More Security. In a statement published by Sowetan Live, Chance shared he was looking forward to relaunching the Chicagoist, which offers news to a young and diverse crowd.

But that's not all Chance – real name Chancelor Jonathan Bennett - is looking forward to. The rapper is set to marry his on-and-off girlfriend Kirsten Corley. Chance proposed to Corley at a backyard party during Fourth of July celebrations. The adorable couple share two-year-old tot Kensli.

While they might seem to be on track to happily ever after, the couple have had their fair share of ups and downs.

Following a break-up after the birth of Kensli, Corley made a bid for sole custody in 2016. A month later, she amended her court order for child support and instead asked for shared parental responsibility. In February 2017, things seemed peachy for the couple when Chance thanked Corley and Kensli in his acceptance speech at the 59th Grammy Awards.

Through thick and thin, the couple always seem to find love. Here are five times we think they were total couple goals.

Showing some love to his baby mamma

Chance was showing lots of love to Corley after the birth of Kensli. He shared this moving message on his Instagram account, thanking everyone who had been a help during the pregnancy.

Winning big in Wakanda

How many couples can brag they've taken a picture with the King of Wakanda Chadwick Boseman? Well, the Bennetts managed to snap this one while he was on the set of Black Panther in Atlanta, Georgia.

Gram goals

Chance shared this cute picture of the three of them having fun family time. Who wants a boring old selfie when you can rock it like the Bennetts?

So gone, so together

It was Chance the Rapper who stole hearts during the #SoGoneChallenge, where social media users rapped over the old-school R&B track by Missy Elliott and Monica. His bars were dedicated to Corley, who was behind the camera as he serenaded her.

Dress-up king and queen

For their 2017 Halloween costumes, the couple paid homage to Jada Pinkett Smith and Tupac Shakur, whose close friendship was rumoured to be a romantic relationship. The pair nailed the look with bandanas and a bald cap for Chance.
