A tiger walked out of a farm in Walkerville and everything went south from there.

With his punch of wit and humour, our podcaster Rams Mabote takes you down the path of Sheba, the tigress that escaped from her enclosure last week at Walkers Fruit Farm in Walkerville in the south of Johannesburg.

Sheba was euthanised on Wednesday morning.

In this latest episode of Taking The Rams By The Horns on SowetanLIVE, Rams narrates the trail of destruction left by Sheba before she was taken down.

‘This matter took on a very interesting turn. On Tuesday evening, while the search party was still on, Sheba went back to the abode for dinner. She went to Walkers Fruit Farm, not exactly for fruit but something meaty and then left again…”

Thirty nine year-old William Mokoena has been hospitalised after Sheba attacked him. He will be represented by prominent lawyer Zola Majavu in a lawsuit against the owner of the tigress.

‘’Sheba was out of the abode for days and was getting hungry. It was only logical for her to go back where she knew for sure there was food although described by the owners as pets. I guess a tiger has got to do what a tiger has to do. Having failed to devour 39-year-old William Mokoena, Sheba had to get something substantial before going out window-shopping again in Walkerville.’’
