There are so many undocumented migrants who come and go all the time. I wonder if the Border Management Agency has brought in any improvements that set it apart from police that have been guarding our borders.

My gardener, who is documented, gets so many of the new arrivals,hoping that he could help them find work. Some spend a few weeks and give up ever finding a job and have to go back to their countries. But what surprises me is the ease of their in and out movements through our borders as if there are no border control measures.

Can home affairs minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi find out what is happening? It seems these people come here hoping that in a few days’ time they are guaranteed to have a job; and when that doesn’t happen, they get frustrated and angry because of the lies they are told about job opportunities in SA.
