What was the purpose of the land hearings Mr Ramaphosa? Why keep up appearances on the summits and public hearings?

So these public hearings were just a waste of time and money, a rubber stamp? Never mind the nearly 800000 submissions already made to date.

I believe, Mr Ramaphosa, that you are diverting the attention away from the unemployment figures released this week.

Why did you announce you'll go ahead and amend the constitution before parliament's joint constitutional review committee's public hearings reach finality? The hearings have been held to establish whether there is a need to amend section 25.
