Let SA work, put refugees in camps

People from across the world are coming to South Africa because our policies regarding refugees and immigration favour them.

They end up occupying RDP houses meant for South Africans. Some of them benefit from Sassa grants because they are multiplying here in SA. They own township spaza shops, and it's no wonder our sisters are used in marriage scams just for them to secure citizenship.

When our brothers and sisters went into exile during the Struggle for freedom, they were put in camps. Why doesn't the government want to set up camps for all the asylum seekers and refugees in SA? Where was the SA Human Rights Commission when our Struggle heroes were put in camps in other countries?

The allocation of RDP houses cannot be addressed properly with refugees roaming our streets. Crime statistics will always swell, especially murder, robbery and rape.

Our sisters cannot get employed now because even domestic work is given to foreigners, because of cheap labour practices. Creches and private childhood development centres also employ foreigners. Construction companies run by so-called BEE businesses employ foreigners. South Africans are being pushed away from employment opportunities with the notion that they are lazy and demand high salaries.

The government must review the laws on refugees. There would not have been xenophobic violence if refugees were in camps.
