A lack of development is behind Bafana Bafana's poor showing

I never supported Stuart Baxter to become Bafana coach, but I agree that the standard of our league might be contributing to their poor performance.

Irvin Khoza says our teams are doing well continentally. But why? Because of foreign players.

Jeremy Brockie contributes a lot to SuperSport United's progress, while Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro did the same for Sundowns.

How many times have local players won the golden boot?

Our players hardly score 15 goals a season.

Bafana dominated the game last Friday, but Senegal needed only two master strokes to win the game because of the quality of their players.

We need to look hard at our development structures and check if they are working.

We killed school football and now we are struggling.

Where did Doctor Khumalo, Phil Masinga and many others come from? School football!
