It is with sadness that I send words of condolences to the family of the late Joe Maila, spokesman for the Department of Health.
I knew Maila long before I started working for government. A few years ago, I was head of publications in the office of the Limpopo premier. Sector departments were expected to send stories to my office so that their departments would be represented in the newsletter, Limpopo News.
Joe Maila, then communications officer with the department of safety in Limpopo, and Wilson Dzebu of Musina municipality, would not miss a single edition without sending news to me.
Rest in peace Joelosa.
