Lock them up

WE HAVE no merry wishes - despite the festive period - for government employees who continue to violate our country.

In fact, we are roaring "Shaya Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Shaya" after her Home Affairs Department and police this week bust some degenerate employees for manufacturing, stealing and illegally registering people as South Africans.

The culprits deserve a bleak and gloomy Christmas - in the cooler of course.

Their actions are treasonous. Anybody who consciously runs down the country does not deserve mercy.

The implications of corruption in civil society cannot be overstated.

Two examples are the use of South African documents outside the country by criminals and the burden it places on our resources.

We are better off without corrupt civil servants.
