According to the Sundaymail, Antony Munetsi Matambanadzo left his marital home a few days after sharing it with his wife and is now seeking the court’s help to make the separation final.
Although the exact reason for his departure was not given, court papers filed by the husband reportedly state that divorce proceedings were being instituted "on the grounds of irretrievable breakdown of marriage and there are no reasonable prospects of the parties living together as husband and wife, particularly in that the couple only stayed together for only one week from the day they got married".
The wife, who is now reportedly living with another man, has been given 20 days from the day of the publication of the notice to respond, sundaymail.co.zw writes.
