THERE is not enough data to prove widely used anaemia drugs to improve outcomes for kidney patients who undergo organ transplantation, a US Medicare advisory panel said this week.
Advisers to the agency said there are not enough available studies to show using the drugs to boost patients' haemoglobin levels can help patients have a more successful kidney transplant.
