Delta variant rages in Limpopo

Limpopo has seen a huge spike in the number of new Covid-19 infections, with the provincial department of health on Sunday saying this was due to the Delta variant which has now been detected in the province. Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba said figures in the province jumped from 385 cases on Tuesday to 1,078 new infections on Saturday.
