A female pedestrian, whose details are unknown, was hit and killed by a Rea Vaya bus at the intersection near Kingsway and University Road, on Monday morning.
Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) spokesperson Wayne Minnaar said a charge of culpable homicide will be investigated against the bus driver.
