No one has ever said South Africa is a perfect country. Any sane person readily admits that there are race-based issues that need to be sorted out.

With that said, that doesn't mean we can't co-exist as proudly SA.

As a sports-mad person, I have always found people who are not sports fans but hijack sports triumphs for political reasons baffling. Ndlozi's comments has put Dali Mpofu in a sticky situation because he knows Springboks wing Makazole Mapimpi well. Ndlozi's comments can equally be at home in right wing circles.

The only difference being the race of the person responsible. That makes EFF hardly any different from AfriForum.

Just to prove how little Ndlozi knows about rugby, he thinks Siyamthanda Kolisi was the only black player in the match. Does that mean Cheslin Kolbe, Bongi Mbonambi, Beast Mtawarira, Lukhanyo Am and Herschel Jantjies must get congratulations from Prince Harry?

His behaviour has degenerated to a level where he is embarrassing himself. Luckily for me, I don't have to seek approval to celebrate from the likes of Ndlozi. I'm so proud of Bokke.
