Protest action in Midrand, Cape and Limpopo

Motorists travelling near Rabie Ridge in Midrand are cautioned that protest action is under way on Monday morning.

Resident Malifupopela shared via Twitter that the area has been shut down.

"No exit and no entrance, roads are blocked," she said.

There is also protest action near Ponte in Hillbrow, Ottery in Cape Town and on the R81 in Limpopo.

Limpopo - #ALERT RT @TransportLimCom Motorist are advised to avoid driving on R81 next to Ga Sekgopo. Protestors are throwing stones at vehicles and have blockaded the road with big stones. Please use alternative routes like the Sekgosese/Soekmekaar Road.
