A 58-year-old man was arrested after the body of his girlfriend was found in open veld in Stinkwater‚ north of Pretoria‚ police said on Tuesday.
The 39-year-old woman was reported missing on Sunday and police immediately launched a search operation.
Police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo said her body was found in the early hours of Monday morning.
