One person was killed and two people injured in a collision on the R102 between Canelands and Shortlands in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday night.

Netcare 911 responded to the accident at 11.30 pm on Friday.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in the car rolling several times ejecting the occupants in the process.

“One person a sustained fatal injuries another critical injuries and the third occupant sustained moderated injuries‚” said Netcare 911 spokesman Shawn Herbst.

“All the injured were treated on scene and transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment‚” he said.
