Controversial State Security Minister Bongani Bongo has asked church leaders to pray for politicians and stop talking about tenders.
Speaking at the God Never Fails church in Buffelspruit near Malalane, on Sunday, Bongo asked the church to pray for the government.
"According to me, the church has to pray for the leadership of the country to lead it well. But now churches speak about tenders and political squabbles. Let not the church be derailed, please pray for us" said Bongo.
Bongo said President Jacob Zuma was under attack from white people.
