Paramedics and rescue teams are treating at least 20 children seriously injured in an accident early on Tuesday.
The children were on the way to school in the Sundumbile area‚ north of Durban‚ when the minibus driver lost control of the vehicle.
IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst said at least one child was trapped in the wreckage.
He said there were “multiple” injuries.
