Durban mother shot dead in home

A 40-year-old mother was shot dead on Saturday in Durban‚ allegedly by a relative.

Police spokesman Captain Nqobile Gwala said the woman was shot in the neck at her home in Southbury‚ in Phoenix.

“The victim died at the scene. A 44-year-old suspect was arrested for murder and will appear in court next week‚” said Gwala.
