South Africa‚ get ready! The MTV EMAs is tonight and local boys Black Coffee and Cassper have been nominated.
They both scored a nod in the Best African Act category.
Other African artists in the running for this highly-contested category are Alikiba from Tanzania‚ Nigeria’s Olamide and Wizkid.
“It is wonderful to see African artists nominated at the 2016 MTV EMAs on the same platform as global superstars of the calibre of Rihanna‚ Beyoncé‚ Drake‚ Kanye West and more‚” said Alex Okosi‚ Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa.
It’s bound to be a star-studded event with the likes of Bruno Mars‚ Green Day and Kings of Leon all set to perform.
