The 14-month-old boy who was kidnapped from his home in Protea Glen‚ Soweto on Tuesday night has been found.
Siya Mlambo was snatched by two men who took him during a robbery when his mother arrived home from work.
A family member confirmed on Friday morning that the toddler had been located in KwaZulu-Natal
“I received WhatsApp pictures of him with his mother just now. I am so happy that our boy was found unharmed. I am over the moon‚” said an elderly member of the family who did not want to be named.
Police spokesman Mpande Khoza said information about the baby’s whereabouts and other issues will be cleared up at a press briefing in Protea Glen on Friday.
