Pre-trial proceedings in the Christopher Panayiotou murder case were postponed in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Thursday after his co-accused said that he was ill.

Suspected hitman Sizwezakhe Vumazonke will be taken to hospital after his legal representative said he was so ill that he could barely walk.

Judge Glenn Goosen accordingly postponed the proceedings to Monday.
