A 61-year-old woman has been bust for possession of heroin in Mitchell’s Plain in the near Cape Town in the Western Cape.
Police spokesman Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said that members of the Mitchell’s Plain police were busy with crime prevention duties in Beacon Valley‚ Mitchell’s Plain‚ on Saturday evening.
“The members executed a search warrant at a house in Korfball street‚ Beacon Valley and upon searching the house they found 60g of heroin in the bathroom‚ with an estimated street value of R10‚000. A 61 year old woman was arrested.”
Rwexana added hat the suspect faced a charge of possession of drugs and would appear in the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
