Roof of Phumulani Mall in Tembisa collapses

The roof of a mall in Tembisa on the East Rand has collapsed.

The incident happened at Phumulani Mall in Winnie Mandela section in Tembisa‚ Ekurhuleni.

It is unclear what caused the collapse but images posted on Twitter showed the roof collapsed on top of some of the retail stores in the mall.

Police and emergency services were yet to respond to calls for further details from TMG Digital.
