Following flooding across the province on Monday‚ gospel star Sfiso Ncwane has asked his fans to pray for KwaZulu- Natal.
Certain parts of the province have been hit by devastating floods on Monday‚ that left many stranded and at least two people missing.
Heavy rainfall and reports of snow in the area has led to several warnings by the weather service and have put the province’s disaster management teams on high alert.
The situation was all too much for local gospel star Sfiso Ncwane‚ who took to social media on Monday to ask fans to pray for the area.
Reposting footage of the floods‚ Sfiso wrote “Eish my Province KZN. Please pray for us.”
In another post‚ showing the extent of the floods in Amanzimtoti‚ Sfiso wrote: “This is Bad KZN Manzimtoti Durban. Eish my Province‚ Jesus.”
In two more pictures of the devastation‚ Sfiso simply reminded fans to “please pray for KZN“.
The Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs in the province has urged motorists in the area to pack food and blankets in the event that they are caught in lengthy road closures. They have also appealed to parents to ensure that school children are properly dressed and that schools monitor the conditions of access roads.
