The body of a woman who was washed away in her car during Durban’s torrential rains on Monday night was found on Tuesday afternoon.
Police search and rescue teams resumed their search for the woman at Silverglen Drive in Bayview‚ Chatsworth‚ early on Tuesday.
After a 500m search downstream‚ two police dogs located the victim’s body in dense debris. The body was recovered and handed over to Bayview police.
The woman’s vehicle was apparently pulled into a river by a strong current during the downpour.
