The Presidency would not confirm or deny Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe’s statement that President Jacob Zuma is considering the instructions of the Constitutional Court to reprimand ministers involved in the Nkandla saga.

Presidency spokesperson Bongani Majola on Wednesday referred questions to the Ministry in the Presidency for Planning‚ Monitoring and Evaluation‚ which promised to respond to TMG Digital questions.

SAfm tweeted that Radebe has told Parliament that Zuma is considering reprimanding the affected ministers without giving details.

Stats SA released a statement on Wednesday announcing that a media briefing ahead of Radebe’s tabling of his budget in Parliament has been cancelled.

The cancellation was issued 20 minutes ahead of 10am scheduled start.

Statistician-General Dr Pali Lehohla had also been scheduled to speak at the briefing.
