A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his mother in a chronic hospital in East London‚ Eastern Cape police tweeted on Sunday.
It said the suspect was visiting his mother at the time of her murder.
“Nurses discovered the body. The suspect was found hiding in a toilet. The deceased‚ 59‚ has been in the institution from 2013‚” police said in a follow-up tweet.
