At least 10 people died when a bus overturned in Magoebaskloof‚ in Limpopo.
Minister of Transport Dipuo Peters issued a statement on Monday saying she was deeply saddened by reports that 10 people died and 60 were injured‚ some seriously.
The bus‚ which was carrying worshippers to the Holy City of Moria‚ overturned on the R528 in Magoebaskloof.
“The Department is working closely with local authorities in order to swiftly identify the cause of the crash and a report will be released as soon as the investigation is concluded‚” said the minister.
“Our thoughts and most heartfelt condolences are with the relatives and loved ones of the deceased‚ and we wish those who sustained injuries a quick and full recovery.”
