The largest ever consignment of horses to be exported from the Western Cape to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will depart from Cape Town on Monday.
The province’s Minister of Economic Opportunities‚ Alan Winde‚ will be at Cape Town International Airport to witness the event.
The development comes after Winde led a Western Cape delegation to the UAE earlier this year. Increasing the trade of horses between the two regions was noted as a key priority during the visit.
