Schoolbooks for 2016 destroyed in suspected arson attack

Four classrooms were gutted in a suspected arson attack at Bayview Primary School in Helenvale.

The fire is believed to have started at about 3am after a break-in at the school.

The four classrooms‚ including a science lab‚ were completely destroyed.

Books that were received on Wednesday for 2016 were all been destroyed as well.
