A driver has found himself in a wet predicament after landing his SUV in a swimming pool.
It is reported that he lost control of his SUV after colliding with a car crashing through a fence and landed in a swimming pool in Johannesburg on Friday.
Paramedics from the ER24 arrived on scene and were surprised to find that the SUV sat, window high, in a residence swimming pool.
"Apparently the SUV and light motor vehicle collided in the intersection, causing the SUV to crash through the fence and come to rest in the swimming pool," said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
"Paramedics assessed the driver of the light motor vehicle and SUV. Fortunately both drivers escape injury."
"No-one from the residence sustained any injuries."
