Axed Diski Divas star Katlego Mohoaduba is on a mission to clear her name.

The reality TV star was recently fired from the television show following public outrage over a “staged fight”.

Mohoaduba is accused of being involved in an altercation which saw her and two of her co-stars being escorted from Kaya FM’ s premises in Rosebank last week during their interview on Home Straight.

Although Mohoaduba admits to be being present at the time of the incident she denies laying a hand on her pregnant co-star Nonhle Ndala.

“I didn’t assault Nonhle. She hit me, that is why I went and opened a case of assault and defamation of character against her”, she says.

Mohoaduba refuses to go into more detail regarding what occurred at the Kaya FM studios but maintains her innocence.

The case was opened at the Parkview Police station and Mohoaduba hopes it will be the first step towards clearing her name which she says has now been ‘tarnished’ by the entire debacle.

Mohoaduba said she was shocked to hear that she was being kicked off the show and believes that Ndala is allowed to get away with a slap on the wrist when she offends others.

She refers a fight (which was televised) between Ndala and Teko Modise’s ex Felicia.

“Felicia was admitted to hospital for depression after that but nothing was done to Nonhle”, she says.

Viewers will see both the fired stars Wendy Parker and Katlego Mohoaduba over the next two weeks; however they will not feature in the series beyond this point.
