Five people will appear in the Chatsworth Magistrate's Court on Monday for allegedly killing a woman.

The case against Nusumuzi Jabulani Gumede, 30, Sibonakaliso Zaba Mbuli, 32, and three teenagers aged 17, 16 and 16 was postponed for a formal bail application last Monday.

A sixth man, 18, also appeared in the court on Tuesday, in connection with the killing.

The woman's decapitated body was found on August 21, while her head was found the next day in Imfume, on the south coast.

"On Thursday Chatsworth [police] detained six suspects... including a woman and a traditional healer," said Colonel Jay Naicker said at the time.
