Carl Pistorius can’t feel his legs

Oscar Pistorius’s brother Carl has lost mobility.

This comes after his involvement in a head-on collision that almost took his life earlier this month in Polokwane.

The family has revealed that Pistorius suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries and cannot feel his legs.

“Carl [Pistorius] suffered polytrauma injuries during the accident,” said family spokesperson Anneliese Burgess earlier today.

“These included lacerations to his heart and liver and he also went into respiratory failure.”

Pistorius was discharged from ICU last week but has remained in hospital due to the extensive injuries.

He will have to undergo surgery in the next week following respiratory arrest after which he will be admitted to a rehabilitation facility as he still needs to regain mobility.

Carl’s brother Oscar is facing a murder charge after he shot dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in their home on Valentines Day last year.
