Sanco Eastern Cape elects new leaders

"This collective is the only Sanco leadership in the province which the people of Eastern Cape are urged to support for the betterment of services," Sanco deputy president Lemias Mashile said in a statement.

The SA National Civic Organisation (Sanco) in the Eastern Cape has elected new provincial office bearers, it said on Sunday.

"This collective is the only Sanco leadership in the province which the people of Eastern Cape are urged to support for the betterment of services," Sanco deputy president Lemias Mashile said in a statement.

Those elected were Zukile Luyenge, provincial chairman, Dan Bolman, deputy chairman, N Garane, secretary, Daluxolo Ntsinde, treasurer and Nomvume Kakaza, provincial organiser.

"All members of Sanco whether having a membership card or not, you are urged to unite behind the democratically elected leadership and ensure championing the needs and aspirations of the people of the Eastern Cape," said Mashile.
