The brown hyena that roamed the streets of north western Johannesburg this morning is safe in the hands of Joburg Zoo keepers.
The 6 month old with badly injured paws, have been recaptured by Dr Brett Gardner from the Johannesburg Zoo.
The animal is now safe and is being treated.
She will be monitored for a month and then all parties involved will make a decision on the future of the furry creature.
