A man is in a stable condition in hospital after he was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Reiger Park, east of Johannesburg, Gauteng police said on Friday.
The 27-year-old was shot in the neck outside his home by an unknown assailant in a car driving past on Thursday, said Lt-Col Katlego Mogale.
"The motive for the shooting is still being investigated and no arrests have been made."
The gunman was in a VW Polo and the incident happened around 6.30am.
