L'oreal gets local ambassadors

L'OREAL Paris has announced 10 South African women to represent the brand's new anti-ageing range, Revitalift Laser Renew.

The women will be following in the footsteps of Rachel Weisz and Andie MacDowell.

L'Oreal South Africa spokeswoman Alexia Beretta says the women were selected out of a group of 20 to put the new product to the test during a four-week trial. "They had to use the full range of the product twice daily and then document the results."

She further says that all were busy working moms.

They will be representatives for 2013, in which they will share their personal experiences of the product. "We had a photo shoot with all 10 ladies on Tuesday," she adds.

The successful candidates chosen were Desiree Jearsey, Louise Marsland, Michelle McLaren, Rose Ralinala, Palesa Tshabalala, Deborah Timm, Monique Duckitt, Susan Roth, Shireen Abrahams and Ayanda Peppeta.

Advertising account director Palesa Tshabalala says she loves her newfound youthful skin . "My skin feels tighter and hydrated, but not too oily. It is difficult to explain, but the skin looks and feels like I've been to a regular facial," she says.

Ayanda Peppeta, 37, says: "It was a great experience indeed, I haven't done something like this before so I tried my chances and look at me now. - mashilaonec@timesmedia.co.za
