A 39-year-old man was stabbed to death in Addo, allegedly by his girlfriend Eastern Cape police said.
Warrant Officer Marianette Olivier said the woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a knife on Christmas Day, after they had an argument at Nomathamsanqa.
Olivier said friends stopped the fight and the boyfriend left, he returned and allegedly hit her with a pick axe handle.
The woman stabbed him with a knife in the chest.
He died on the scene.
The woman was arrested and was expected to appear in the Kirkwood Magistrate Court on Thursday, facing a charge of murder.
