Alleged strike leader Elias Juba was arrested after a violent protest at Limpopo’s Bokoni mine and is to appear in court at Sekhukhune

SABC radio news reports he was re-arrested for allegedly addressing people at a taxi rank — which was in conflict with his bail conditions — and will face a charge of contempt of court.

Labour Forum chairman Juba allegedly led a two-month unprotected strike in October and November at the Bokoni Platinum mine outside Burgersfort.
