A Cape Town woman was found guilty of murdering her newborn baby and concealing his death
Tthe Cape Argus reported that Lumka Jordan admitted in the Western Cape High Court to killing her son by decapitating him with a sharp object.
She then dumped the body on a rubbish heap in Philippi.
Judgment was handed down on Tuesday.
According to the report, the matter would resume on December 6 for sentencing arguments. The defence would also hand in a psychiatric report.
