Teens arrested for murder near school

One is aged 16, and the other two are 17 years old

Three boys have been arrested in Zamdela, Sasolburg, in connection with the murder of a man, Free State police said on Thursday.

A 25-year-old man was found stabbed to death near the Kahobotjha Secondary School at Harry Gwala Section in Zamdela, police spokesman Constable Peter Kareli said.

An investigation resulted in the linking of the three boys, one aged 16, and two aged 17, to the crime.

They were arrested on Wednesday and would appear in the Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court on murder charges soon.
