The military has warned of a scam selling desperate people empty promises of reintegration into the SA National Defence Force.
Spokesman Brig-General Xolani Mabanga said there were no plans to integrate former soldiers and jobless young people into the defence force.
The integration process was concluded in December 2002, he said.
He urged people to report the culprits to nearest police station.
They were active in the Western Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, North West, Free State, Mpumalanga, and Northern Cape.
