Lesotho opposition forms coalition to oust PM after poll

Prime Minister's party failed to win an absolute majority in parliamentary elections

Lesotho opposition parties have agreed to form a coalition after Prime Minister Pakalitha Mosisili’s party failed to win an absolute majority in parliamentary elections.

Basotho Convention leader Tom Thabane said late Tuesday that the parties would form a 64-seat alliance.

This would give them a majority in the 120-seat parliament.
